God gives special grace to those who are saved from abortion. It is almost as though the saved ones have some special mission in life.

This testimony is given by Mary Lou Steele, born July 6, 1932 in Coldwater, MI.

1) My mother was going to abort me because my father did not want me.
2) When I was born, I did not have use of my legs.
3) I spent my first 11/2 years in an orphanage.
4) I was adopted at about age 1 ½.
5) My adoptive mother worked diligently on my legs. At age 3-or-so I was walking.
6) In the 8th grade I had a paper route.
7) In September of my last year in high school, my father had a heart attack and I found him lying on the garage floor. I couldn’t cry. My mother had me call my uncle Jack and told him “give Mary Lou a spank on the bottom to make her cry”.
He did that and I started to cry – and cry – and cry.
8) I got married at age 21. I was a virgin at that time.
9) I was married for 62 years.
10 When my husband went to college, he had the GI bill and I worked at the school student union cafeteria. He graduated with no student debt.
11) He worked his entire career at Westinghouse, designing nuclear power systems. I worked all that time at a local bank.
His salary was more than we needed to live on, so we saved all my salary plus part of his for over 50 years. At one time, our net worth exceeded one million dollars.
12) When my husband died, I developed lung cancer. I was put into Hospice.
13) A friend from college whose wife had died recently, came to Pittsburgh and took me out of Hospice. He took me to his local church and the elders prayed for me as written in the book of James. My cancer was healed.

I married the man whom I met with my husband in college.
15) I know the Lord has something He wants me to do yet in my life, but I don’t know what it is yet.

God gives special grace to those who are saved from abortion.

A note from her husband:
Mary Lou is in heaven now with the Lord. She left part of her estate to me. Since I do not need any of her money to live on, the part of her estate left to me is now being used to fund the Lord’s work. I know that is what she would want.
